What to watch for
Colours are read from the XXX file
When a palette is present, its RGB values colour the preview. Compare them with the original thread chart before stitching; displayed shades cannot identify an exact physical thread match.
Viewing is separate from machine transfer
A successful preview means the file was decoded, not that your Singer model supports a particular USB or computer connection. Follow your model's transfer instructions.
Blocks are steps, not spool inventory
One physical thread can be used in several blocks. Use the sequence to understand where changes occur, then check the actual thread choices and make a test stitch-out.
